1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Al Izn, UAE ("IZN AI", "we", "us"). By registering for, accessing or using the IZN AI mobile application or the al-izn.com website ("Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years of age to use IZN AI
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction
• If using IZN AI for a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms

3. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must provide accurate, current and complete information during registration
• You must notify us immediately at support@al-izn.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
• One person may not maintain more than one active account without written permission
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms

4. Permitted Use

You may use IZN AI for lawful personal and professional purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to transmit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, obscene or otherwise objectionable content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any part of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access, collect or index any Service data without prior written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable UAE law or the laws of your jurisdiction
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, rate limits, or access controls
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or content that may harm other users or our infrastructure

5. AI-Generated Content

• AI responses are generated by IZN AI's private language models and are provided for informational purposes only
• AI content does not constitute legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for such matters
• Ledger entries are user-asserted records and are advisory only — they do not constitute legal proof of debt
• AI-assisted document drafts (contracts, legal templates) are starting points and must be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before use
• We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create within IZN AI ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant IZN AI a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store and process your User Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your User Content to train AI models or share it with third parties, except as stated in our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscription and Billing

• Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are displayed at the point of purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@al-izn.com within 7 days of billing
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers
• Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store payment card details

8. Directory and Professional Profiles

• Directory listings are self-asserted. IZN AI does not independently verify professional credentials
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of information in your Directory profile
• Fraudulent or misleading Directory profiles will be removed and the account suspended
• IZN AI is not liable for any transactions, disputes or damages arising from user interactions facilitated through the Directory

9. Mediation Services

The AI-assisted mediation feature is a communication facilitation tool only. It does not create a binding mediation agreement, constitute legal proceedings, or replace formal dispute resolution mechanisms. Outcomes of AI-assisted mediation sessions are not legally enforceable unless separately documented and signed by all parties in accordance with applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

• The IZN AI name, logo, app design and all underlying technology are the intellectual property of Al Izn, UAE
• All rights are reserved. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use IZN AI's intellectual property
• User Content remains your property. You grant us only the limited licence described in Section 6

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, IZN AI's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to IZN AI in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim.

IZN AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. IZN AI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold IZN AI and its officers, directors and employees harmless from any claim, loss or damage arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.

14. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account
• We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms
• On account deletion, your data will be purged within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations
• Sections 10–13 survive termination

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts, Dubai. Parties agree first to attempt good-faith resolution through DIAC (Dubai International Arbitration Centre) mediation before commencing court proceedings.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. The most current version will always be available at al-izn.com/terms.html. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
